Not sure who Gary is (coordinator? ) I tend to deal with agents more. I use my coordinator to scan for certain loads but I book most of my own freight. Coordinators are a great tool and can HELP keep my truck moving but agents actually handle the loads. That's why we have all thier numbers.

 

@earlybird1104 feel free to hit me up if you have any questions. Like @spyder7723 said, you are about to slam doors at a flatbed company. It's not an easy task to accomplish!

On a good note, I'm booked up till the 1st of February! I-10 is my home all winter long! Lol

 

I'm stuck in Oklahoma. No fault to mercer but either the agent or his contact dropped the ball on my load canceling. ( called poc and they wanted a power unit) It was my reload going to Memphis. Oh well $250 TONU eases the pain but I only came here because of my reload. Now I see how it feel for guys that only book when they unload smh it sucks. I called about 3 agents and they all said its slow which I understand but boy I feel stranded with no load setup.

 

Dude, it was 1 degree this morning when I was pulling those tarps off.

 

Taylor, best thing you can do is either grab a cheap load back to a good market, or just suck it up and bounce empty. If you wait for a"good" load out there, you could be there till spring.

 

Bet that folder job on the tarps, if used, wasn't pretty. Hate trying to fold them this cold.

 

Not as bad as you would think. Three guys on the job site helped.
