But I work cheap now that I know my worth. My friend's son talked to pitt- Ohio about a job turning wrenches. And him if he had his cdl. $24.50 with a cdl $23.50 without it. Finally, i know my worth,...a dollar an hour.

Already got one strapped down on the Benson n rollin. You asked. Analyze the situation. It's your money... I can't help the rates. That's the best I see there. You guys all get wrapped up in your dollar per mile. You gotta figure dollar per hour also and balance it out. I got $1.22 coming out of Cali to Charlotte and got to Cali Friday. Maybe I should of waited another week and got $1.29. I'm not bawlin, I knew what I was in for when I took the load to Cali. It's cheap n your gonna wait this time of year, that's all there is to it. Mr G at the bank doesn't care about my dollar per mile. He cares did I have enough for him this month.

That's really cheap out of California. I also don't wait to get to CA to book a load either. Proper planning, knowing the lanes and the agents plays a great deal in pulling van here.

@kjoseph call NEW if you are sitting in NC. They usually have some really good loads around there. If you like Utah & Nevada, they will hook you up!!!

I look at the board at every opportunity going out. When you're 51 on the board it's hard to book ahead unless you got something going with an agent somewhere. At twenty something on the board Monday, this load only made to me because of the rate. There's still nothing out there. I know there are trucks that were ahead of me thinking they should have taken this after it was gone. I've done it myself before, a day or so still there you kick yourself. Dang, I should've took that Charlotte, I could be unloaded tomorrow and I'm still sittin here spending money. Crap, now the truck won't start. Stupid ##### refrigerator...Happened yesterday.
