I had to use them 3x yesterday. I'm to the point that if it isn't snowing out I don't even put a jacket on. I'm out of the mountains now with a bunch of very happy customers (and agents). I must say I forgot how pretty Tahoe was. And my phone has even rung today with an agent asking if I would go back up. Of course I said $ talks. To me they have more than paid for themselves. I bought mine from the distributor and had them overnighted. But they where the same price as Iowa 80 so I'm sure that you can get them cheaper.

 

Lol seems I never have enough winches. Trail or came with 12 and I have added 3 with 2 more in the toolbox. You will use them.

 

Was told Thursday that I should be getting called in next week but still haven't heard when my trailer might be coming in. Recruiter sent me a textext yesterday saying the trailer department still has no idea either. Thinking I'm starting to get played or am I over reacting?

 

Played? How? Are you a quality guy? If so I would say (but don't know) that your just on the bottom of the list. You will get one when an extra one comes in. Now before you go off I already stated that I don't know this. It's just a guess.

My guess is that he ment you will be approved but you won't get an orientation date till they have a trailer for you

 

In that case, maybe you said you wanted a new trailer and they need to get rid of used ones. Or (like someone said) there are just a ton of people ahead of you (30 ppl in orientation? 60 ppl a week?). Mercer isn't good at games. Normally they a blunt honestly truthful with you. I can't tell you how long it will take. Took me a matter of days, takes some months. If you have 10 employers it might take 10 months. If you have had 1 then it might take a day.

Short answer, your overreacting.

 

I must admit I feel very lucky I got approved last January quite my job on the 20th picked up my (new to me ) truck on the 30th and was sitting in orientation February 2nd most people who started 45 days later have been having to wait on trailers

 

True, I was in the same boat. Was working, got approved in a matter of days and set my own orientation date. 2 hrs later they confirmed that they would have a trailer for me. No wait on my part at all.
