That's because you had the permit. Any overhang in the 53 has to be permitted

    whoopNride Thanks this.

Spider the 53 foot is a different animal, many states allow no overhang on a 53

Now the question is answered as to why you measure your truck and trailer 500 different ways when leasing on

We got to get you mercerized quickly, you deliver on the 25th and would pickup on the 25th, from meadville, pa to Iowa state line is 600 miles, you would hard pressed to make delivery on the 26th especially on eld, I wouldn't think about , I would deliver on the 27th, it went be long and you will completely understand, right now you are like this old man is crazy,Lol.

Lol. Here's how I was gonna do it...spend the night maybe 5 miles from shipper or possibly at shipper.... get loaded on 25th which I would have ALL of my drive time...drive as far as my body would allow me to then shut it down an be there to deliver before noon on the 26th.
Load didn't pay well enough to lounge around with it the first beginning of the week.
I've developed a formula over the years to where if I didn't make at least 2k by Wednesday of each week it almost ALWAYS ended in a low grossing week.
An by me picking up a load on Monday an holding it for 2 days would've knocked me from doing that.
I like to hustle the first part of the week an basically grab anything necessary to towards the end of the week that will give me somethin extra in pockets OR make up for what I didn't make the first part of week

Eh, not too bad, he gouged my cab extender with the hinges on his trailer. It created about a 1/4 inch gap between the cab extender and cab as well as 2 holes/tears/slices or whatever else you would call it. Cab extender is still mounted firmly it seems, just pulled away. Mercer said they will deal with it monday, so whatever. Is what it is, it happens. 20160123_165705.jpg
