Ya I also wondered what that was about.

In other news, it's freaking freezing here. old man winter must not of seen that no vacancy sign when he checked in. 47 in south Florida and calling for high 30s in the wee hours of the morning.

I'm still wearing a Tshirt out here. But it's 60 and time for a sweater.

How's everyone looking on loading tomorrow? I know some areas are still nasty to get to with the weather issue

So I still haven't put 7k on my truck. Just had the batteries replaced (under warranty) I knew they were bad from day one (my APU would run every 5 mins). They had 6 cranking amps, 9 cranking amps and 36 cranking amp for the three bad ones. Hard to believe that they are putting bad batteries in new trucks but hey, what do I know? LOL

Hey, that's the high quality standards of a Western Star, should have gone KW, could have gotten 6 months out of them.

That cold weather puts a brutal beating on any batteries...don't matter if their old or new. I been in a hotel for the past two days. Occasionally I run outside an start my truck up an let it idle for about 15-20 min

I've for the most part been in warm weather. Like I said, I knew they were bad as soon as I picked the truck up (well the first night I slept in the truck at least). Anytime your APU has more hours on it than you motor and you have hardly used the AC or Heat something is wrong. Wasn't a big deal and didn't cost me a dime (well that's not really true) I was just puttering on the truck at the Petro and remembered that they do warranty work so I had them replace them. Easier then the dealer.

Anyway I see most of you are still dealing with the cold. Stay warm and be safe.
