Not trying to butt in and answer for Jacq but I have a 16 Cascadia EVO, DD15, Eaton 10spd and 247 rears (i think thats right) and I have a lifetime average of 8.3mpg on it.
I do whatever the speed limit sign says...sometimes a little more depending on area. I also generally only run IN to the north east and back, sometimes go down to GA and what not but nothing else really. So kind of hilly at times. Oh and it pulls PA 76 and 80 pretty decently, even with 45k in the box i usually dont have to shift lower than 8th unless someone messes me up or blocks me in the truck only lane.

No, if it is a walk away lease you are allowed to cancel at any time, so no problems. However this does't affect your credit anyway since payments come directly off your earnings and you do not "make" the payments yourself. I have never seen any company report such financing to a credit bureau, and Mercer certainly does not.

thanks, looking at my options for a new ride, or a glider perhaps, and efficiency is a top factor.

I don't understand this. I'm in Louisville since Tues and the lot behind the seawall is filled with vans and flatbeds, with tons of flats still stack three high waiting to be grounded. Seriously I don't know how truck show parking is going to work out because there is not much room back there right now, it will fill up in the first two hours the lot is open to parking. going to be a real mess this year. we'll have to stack flatbeds four high and I guess we'll have to stand vans up on end to make room.

this has my curiosity piqued. We all know who the big pricks are, but has anyone stepped up to admit to being one of the little ones????

Welp. Made it to Mercertown today. We have been absolutely floored by the hospitality shown from everyone here. From fellow o/o's to the staff. Went thru inspection with one little thing wrong and that's done. Did the pee test. Got plates and permits started. Bought my gear. When headache rack was delivered I asked one guy for a wrench and net thing we knew we had about 8 guys around truck helping out with everything. Absolutely amazing! Makes Sherri and I feel like we have made the right decision to head this way.

So now nothing to do until Monday morning. So if your in town stop by the drivers lot and say hello and introduce yourself. We are not hard to find. We're in the signal green lonestar bobtail.

I went through orientation the week of the truck show last year and missed out on a lot of the festivities across town because of this. I may have to try to work my way back to Louisville that week, will be due for my inspection anyway.
