I'm a few months away from needing 8 tractor tires. I think Louisville sounds like a good idea.

That's about right, $470 give or take, plus labor.

I'm getting ready to get 8 drives and the lady I spoke with said to get em in Indiana for no sales tax but Kentucky had a sales tax. Did I misinterpret Kentucky?

No, when I said Louisville.........We go to Louisville then go across the river and get the tires there. There are a couple of tire dealers just across the river in Indiana that do a ton of tire work for Mercer trucks.

It's just easier to go to the tire dealer there, they know how Mercer does the tire program. They know the ladies at the office on a first name basis.

Most of us go to Raben Tire or S&R Tire. S&R even has a Mercer Truck on their web site. That's where I usually go.

Oh ok that was what she was saying. I almost got em in TN (where I was at) or home in FL and then she said it's a 10% sales in TN and 6.5% in FL so I told her I'll wait until I get by the yard. I just have to call a week in advance to make sure they have all 8 24.5 since they seem to be harder to come by. Probably wait until the truck show is over with

Is there any reason to get different tires for the back tandam than the front random on the tractor.
