I'm sure it's the laughs not the food that gets mercer back so much. The food is.....well passable might be too much credit.

 

Was that you on 95 north just crossing into GA wed?

 

Wednesday I dropped in deerfield beach,Fl. ReloAded in west palm, thurs day morning and delivered in Jacksonville Thursday afternoon. Then headed north up 95 toward savannah, I got a blue t600

 

Yea Thursday. That was you. I got my days mixed up right now celebrating my girl birthday. I hollered on the CB but I figured you had it down

 

I may have had it down,.. But my Ac knocked off and I had window down, may not have heard. Got the Ac fixed today, the connector to high pressure switch not making connection

 

Always safe. The little one is awesome, and the wife is happier than I've seen her in a long time. She likes babies, so having another one talky lit her up, especially considering how many years we tried and have up. I don't normally like surprises, but this was one #### good surprise.

And yep, i got to play road side mechanic. It's just part of owning a truck, no biggie.

Yesterday Thursday. I was in Louisiana with the flood. Roads were closed. One truck tries to make it. He stalled in the water. 2015 freight liner. 3 cars stalled out. Now I was 30 mins from delivery here comes a Anderson truck over sized with a military tank. He bypass the road closed sign and drove into the water. The water was up to his doors. If I was his boss I would of fired his ### on the spot.
Every road I tired was flooded out hardly got turned around. 30 miles turned into 200... Good news? When I got to the base there was over 20 trucks waiting to unload. I got to skip all of em lol. Pissed off a lot of people.

 

Friday night parked in the flying J in Pa I80 ext. 78 pulled into the middle of the lot by myself. Next thing you know a prime reefer parks next to me with the noise maker right next to my sleeper window. When it kicked on the noise and vibration to my truck was just crazy. It was early enough so I moved to another spot. But you just have to wonder why they need to park next to you with all that open parking.

 

I'm getting the house ready to sell so I can get the heck out of Chicagoland and then my plan is to come over to Mercer.

 

Why not stay in Chicago land? Good flat freight in Illinois.
