Do you have your sea link and RFID? That would help you a lot with Jersey. It's often what I use to get out. Or just keep running out of. Often they are round trips.

I have the TWIC. But no Sealink. I should get off my ### and call broker asking about port loads.

So i took some time off in louisville. Delivered 2 miles from the yard saturday. Monday my starter burnt up. Hot wire at the bendix was loose and meeker the post nearly in half. Guess it's been loose a while. Probably from when i rebuilt the engine, a year and a half ago. So i pulled it off Monday evening, took the elog class tuesday morning. Put the new starter on tuesday night. Installed the elog this morning. Spent the rest of the day #####ing and moaning and whining. I am very discouraged about this elog. Screwed it up a half dozen times and haven't driven out of the parking lot yet. I'm a cranky old man stuck in my ways and i hate technology. I really do not like change.

On the bright side, i got a 2.89 per mile load for tomorrow. 10k lbs. sometimes it pays to be the only one around with no passenger or pets.

It can be a pita. On Sunday I logged in to early. I forgot spring forward and logged in at 9.5 hours. Had to call Mercer and get it fixed. Plus I have forgotten in the past to goto off duty and I catch it the next day. So then I can't move till 10:01 am. Or you call logs and get it fixed. Lastly for a cargo check, sit for five minutes.
