True, but that's why I don't run 90. They are light loads, I'll avoid the tolls like the plague. I've said many times I'm still trying to figure the system out, but when I get in that loop, my take home after ALL expenses is in the $2500+/week range and that's with my monster truck payment, but that's running harder than I want to. I'd like to get to that point while only putting in 1200 mile weeks one day like @CJndaTruck .

Ok, I don't think this is. I mean, it pays crap, but it's getting me home for Easter. I'm picking up in Elkridge, MD with an 8' tarp. It's a crap rate really, especially with the 8' tarp, but it's still above $1.50 (my minimum) and it gets me home....ish.

It was very difficult to leave the house today. I put in a new dpf filter on Friday and new headlights on Saturday. I spent 2 much money while I was home. I figured I would at least go out for 2 or 3 weeks, I accomplished a lot while at the house plus ate like a king as usual. Loading for Georgia today then work my way back home!

Hey, I'm now averaging 1237 miles a week. That trip from cali to SC messed me up (and paid crap). I have another long (for me now) trip of 700 miles picking up today. That will finally get 20k on the odometer. Don't hate me cause I'm lazy.

Edit: I only figured it out because at first I didn't believe I was being that lazy. I read 1200 and thought "there is no way my average is still that low" I guess you know me better then I know me.

LOL, I'm trying to spend a few weeks out too. It gets easy to spend too much $ when at the house. I had actually planned on kinda staying out for summer minus several races but my oldest son seems to have other plans for me this year. Looks like I might have to work my way back west. Well in a few weeks at least.

When I started in flats I had no clue where to get extra flat equip. So believe it or not look at your local truck and trailer dealers. They usually have good rates on things like that. Avoid truck stops. That $30 strap at TA is $10 at freightliner. Stop in a trailer dealer or 2 and you should be set.

Yes, check the wire at the horn or run to Napa and buy a cheap one.
