There is currently NO ELD that is compliant with the new rules. All will require software rewrites andbthat cant be done until the new required data specifications is developed and released by the feds. That will put all vendors in a time crunch, a year to eighteen months at best to write, test, and distribute the new programs to every ELD in service by the compliance deadline. Feds gave themselves 6 months to develop the final specs ... anyone else notice how they've done in recent years meeting their own deadlines?

It's 287, 87 parallels the hudson. It's 40 miles longer to take that than the GW, but you can actually move, the GW is like a parking lot most of the time. To go to Jersey the GW is free. 95 in the Bronx will destroy your truck, way to ruff.

Yeah, that's where I picked up. 40k became 17k, 8ft drop became 3ft drop so I guess I can suck up the cheap rate to get me home

the loadboard is sickening right now.
There are loads on there loads literally laying 1.30/mile. I refuse to believe those loads haven't been thru 800 brokers hands already smh

    That's correct, he has plenty!
Let's start off with the nauvoo loads which is 200 miles away from me. 48k lumber.
If I was near it I would grab it.
An I just closed the whole page down when I saw they had AL>GA loads paying 1.60 out of Bham at that!!! 4ft tarps 48k of steel. Smh. Brokered loads all day long.
Not even putting my boots on for that insult. It's 2-3 bucks a mile to move around in between Bama an Georgia. UNLESS you're pulling that cheap lumber out of chapman. I'm not pulling a load out of Bama for under 2 bucks period. Especially if it has to be tarped.
Even some of these shady brokers will gladly give u 2 bucks a mile to keep you from asking about the 3.50/mile they got it for.
