I leased on Feb 2011, Mynumber is in the 12500,s. I saw one that was 16800 I think last week, that 4300 in 5 years, or 860 a year, 1750 in 2 years is 875 a year, nothing has changed a bit, quality trucks, lack of loads, isn't a factor. Some folks just don't know what they are looking for

So many opinions in general. Who is right? Who is wrong? Over the last 15 months I have worked the system half a dozen ways. Some work great and some don't. Some of the ones that didn't work for me I have tried a second time just to make sure. The one thing I haven't done is to keep trying the same thing for an extended period of time. The markets change too much for that. I have to keep evolving just like the markets do. Have I made mistakes? Yes Sir! Have they cost me a lot? Nope, in the end they have probably made me money.

I contribute 75% of my success to this thread and those on it. 20% (I know it SHOULD be more, but I am LAZY) to hard work and 5% to plain old luck. Although I have had bad moments or even hours here. I don't recall ever having a bad day.

I do have to agree, attitude can make or break you here. But all the answers to my success here are in these pages. Even if people call BS when I say how I do what I do. The $4 load I'm delivering now cam off the board just like the $5 load I pick up in the AM. No secret club handshake, just 20% hard work.

Edit: sorry I'm delivering a bit over $3 not $4. I didn't mean to imbelish just had to look in my book.

I picked up straps for $9.99 at freightliner on sale a bit back. I think $12.99 was reg. price.

I'm trying to decide FB or SD (I once ran here with a SD Unit # 12150) Will I always do better FB now in 2016? Comments or thoughts?

I put the purchase on hold until I can justify spending 4500 down and 551.00 a month on a trailer I MAY or MAY NOT use (as much). I need to see what freight is doing on the FB side. If I buy one thru Mercer I can preserve 4500.00 down and lease one from them for 530.00 (ish) a month without spending any down payment money. My "boss" likes our money to stay in the mattress!
