I replaced the bulb, it still doesn't light up. It was on for weeks. Then it took awhile to get a new one. I moved a bulb that would light to the spot just to makge sure the new one was good.

I checked the fuze box too.

 

All they want is abs lights to work

 

OK that works.

I have a road relay 4 in the truck, but I would like the check engine light to work too.

 

Have you checked if it has power when you turn the key on, but don't engage the starter?

 

How would you check it? Other lights lite up on the dash. When I just key check it, the dash lites up. Not the check engine light.

 

First what kind of truck is it? Some have the idiot lights in a circuit board, others are wired independently.

 

Nice dinner tonight everyone. Well the other 5 of you, can't believe 6 of us where here at the same time but it was nice. I would list everyone but it would take forever besides you all know who you are. Now I gotta find a load to Texas ;p.

 

I'll be in Dallas this weekend, probably going to swing back by the yard on my way down friday though and get the dash cam.

 

Today was my last day @ Mercer. I will keep the flat here but unfortunately I had to say goodbye. I enjoyed the past couple years & have learned a lot. I have made some good friends along the way & I hope to be back later down the road.

I would like to clarify that me leaving had nothing to do with rates, where I live or the fact that I'm lazy & slam doors. It had nothing to do with Mercer at all. It was actually very difficult to leave & took me over 3 months to convince myself to do it. Family comes first & I can always come back to Mercer.

My door is always open if anyone makes a bad decision to run to South Texas & REAL BBQ is always on my table.

In the future if you read this & have made the wild decision to pull a van at a flatbed company don't hesitate to send me a pm. I still have access to the board at Mercer & I know a thing or two about how to survive there.

I would like to thank everyone here that posted information about how things work at Mercer. It was a decent amount of help to get the ball rolling when I first leased on. Even though there wasn't a single van driver on here to answer questions for me, there are plenty leased on here that did help that I met on the road.

With all that said, thank you to the group that went out to eat with me tonight. It made it a little bit easier to leave tonight knowing I have met some real solid people @ Mercer that I can call friends!

 

I hope to get out of here today but nothing has caught my eye yet. I'm sure something will at some point.
