So yesterday I folded my tarps for the last time in the foreseeable future. I'm in GA to have my trailer converted into a Conastoga. I know many of you think I'm crazy, and maybe I am. But I think I like being lazy.

 

It'll be interesting to see what kind of an effect that will have on your mileage.

 

@CJndaTruck yeah, be sure to let us know. I think it will increase it, but I'm curious too how much, or if I'm wrong

 

It should increase it. How much is yet to be determined but you can be sure I'll e paying close attention to that. I'm at 7.89 lifetime now with mainly 42k+ loads. But I'm done looking for heavy loads so that in itself will increase my mileage.

 

I ran into @frt60 60 the other day and he said he had pulled one on a PO load and got about an extra mile a gallon I believe. That would be sweet.

 

Can't say for certain but I think Skateboardman and I have been doing NE way longer. You're stealing our loads!

Yall are just lucky I put my truck in the shop in California and flew home so I could hold my board position and run the western board for a few weeks. Otherwise, I'd be taking ALL the NE runs, even if they picked up on opposite sides of the country the same day.
