Just be aware that, with those codes active, the engine can derate after a preset time.

Silly question #6666: how high is the deck of the Mercer flatbed?

That is a great question, got to ask them to learn anything. Speaking of that, I saw a load an agent had posted the other day for a flatbed 9'2" tall. I don't think that is possible, without being over height. It was not a Mercer agent by the way....

If it was in a western state you're allowed to go 14' high.

    whoopNride and roshea Thank this.

It should have... well, got my delivery off today and brought her back to Fontana, let's see if they get it right this time. My money still is and has been on a small leak in the lines, I don't think anyone has checked that yet.

Yeah, not for whatever is causing this I don't think. I ran it 2 weeks before it went to the shop the first time, then another week between shop 2 and shop 3. It hasn't derated a bit, other than the actual loss of power that is part of the problem. It's not derating to save the engine, it just feels like some sort of cross between doing a constant regen, a dropped cylinder, and an air leak before the turbo. The ecm isn't governing the speed, it just feels like I have 20k lbs more on the trailer than I do. Empty feels like I have a 20k load, the 25k load I had today felt like 48k going up Cajon.

Permits for that will be very cheap. And in some states you can be 14 tall legal. So it just depends on where it's going. Obviously you don't want to take 14 and change up to the north east. But down here in Florida? I run them all the time. Don't even need banners, just flags.
