See my previous post edit. That truck had less than 30k miles left on the engine warranty. Let alone the emissions stuff.

Before you sign the paperwork tell your salesman you would like 45 days to your 1st payment. Some of the dealers are offering 90 days to 1st payment.

There is a guy in bay city that has a 99 freightliner and a 2013 greatdane with all the equipment for 33000 and he works for mercer
The north east sucks no matter what name is on the door. If you can get a good deal on a trailer by all means grab it. That being said, mercer is basically selling their trailers at cost. They don't make money off them. My only complaint about the trailers is they are plain janes.
