I was born in Corpus, it's complete trash. South Padre is awesome, if you are down there in a truck you are definitely lost. You basically have to go to Mexico and then cross a bridge, lol. I don't do the beach scene at all, but I do go deep sea fishing every year in the gulf. I have a thing for shark, not just catching them but I love how it tastes! Plus a case of beer is worth a 5 gallon bucket of shrimp to any of the shrimp boats out there.

 

That's some cheap shrimp...it's amazing what supply and demand will do. I like shark too, and stingray. I grew up on/around Camp Lejeune, and virtually lived on the beach before we moved to Alabama when my dad retired. The beaches on the east coast are way better than the west coast, a lot cleaner.

@CJndaTruck, I haven't been to any beaches outside the contiguous 48, but I'm sure there are better ones out there, I'm just bias.

 

LOL. No worries. The Galveston beach wasn't real bad. A bit Shelly (here I go making up words) but that's fine. Also I wasnt impressed with the storm wall and the blocks beneath it. But I've seen and dealt with hurricanes before so I kinda understood it.

Now I'm sitting here in the dark because the last storm knocked out power. This Really sucks. Lol

No I'm in Houston. Been dealing with storms and floods all week. Got a lucky break with monday and Tuesday but the rain is back.

I grabbed a load to WV on friday. But Im nowhere near my house. Just spending time at my GF house who usually comes out to see me.
