Hmm anyone know a decent ailment shop? Trailer got bad inner tire wear.

 

Only two that i have found. Tampa spring in tampa,fl. and the one out in Kansas city. I forget their name but fairly certain @blairandgretchen got his truck done there. Perhaps he can come along and give the phone number.

That's the one. While i have not been there in years, so my personal experience is very dated. i know several people that swear by him. He knows how stuff, and just as important, he knows how to communicate with you to explain the 'whys' so that you will understand everything he is suggesting and why he is suggesting it.

 

We talked to him last week. He inspects before he ever puts it "up on the rack" so to speak. If we can ever get to KC, truck has a date with him.

 

Posting a business phone number is against the rules? I could see if it was a rep of the business advertising, but when its truck owners with long posting history giving it to another member with a recommendation as a good so to use? That's just pointlessly making things more difficult for ttr members.

@DragonTamerBrat could you pm me that number? If i had thought there was any chance it would be deleted by a mod i would have saved it for future reference instead of thinking i could always find it in this thread when or if needed.

 

Les Schwab did a good job on mine (correcting the bad one) in Missoula, MT, but I doubt you plan on getting that way anytime soon.

Thing about being retired: you do more yard work. Wife broke the front axle on the JD mower today. I've been kind of ruff on it over the years. Think I'll skip Home Depot version of John Deere this time and get the real thing.

Still cheaper than a big truck.
