I don't think "were" applies, I think they still are. Taking into consideration how the overall industry has changed, they are still there. Right at the top. Mercer has a smaller pool to choose from like everyone else. It might be even be said that back when us old guys started, the old guys then, thoughtvwe were nuts.

You didn't help much. I run 24/7 if I can. Weekends have nothing to do with this. My concern is more the ability to make enough to pay my bills. I know very well how most of the dissatisfied on the web sites created their own problem. I want to lease to a company where I can stay for a long period of time and not have to leave because a recruiter was blowing smoke.

Our recruiters don't blow smoke. It cost too much money to low to a guy just to get him in orientation only for him to quit a month later cause everything he was told was a bunch of crap. That's a net loss for mercer. Especially considering all the money they have had to pay us to go get trailers left all over the country by guys quitting. Yes i know you have your own, but it's not like a recruiter is gonna tell you one thing and the guy without a trailer something else.
Now obviously recruiters can only give info they have on hand so any figures are going to be from the last time it was calculated so it might be 3 months old. But they aren't going to intentionally mislead you.

@mi38 I said Louisville was honest this goes for the recruiters also. Spyder said Mercer recruiters don't blow smoke. He speaks the truth. My only advice when speaking to Mercer recruiters is this: Listen to what they say, not what you what to hear

    skateboardman and mi38 Thank this.
