Isn't it great? I just shake my head and smile a lot. It's always the guy walking up to you talking loudly.

    Razorwyr and RStewart Thank this.

When I was a 4 digit number nobody ever came up to me and told me how bad Mercer was. When I left for 6 months and came back as a zip code then everyone had an opinion.

I just explained, I think I know what I'm doing, I've been here 23 years

I met a van guy who quit, had tape over Mercer signage. Said he couldn't get home to new Mexico. I told him with a flat he would be fine in the Midwest. Van rates were low for him.

When he was signing on I would like to know if he was listening to what the recruiter was telling him, or if he was hearing what he wanted to hear. I stand behind what I have said before. Mercer recruiters don't lie. But you you have to listen to them and be honest with yourself.

    RStewart and CJndaTruck Thank this.

I signed on to Mercer living in Wy and Mt. but I knew what to expect. I would never recommend someone signing on living in Nm Co Wy Mt Id because it's hard. But it can be done it's just harder.

But to be fair its hard in that area no matter what the name on your truck says. No one has a lot of good freight over there.

But here's the deal, i live in freaking south Florida. It doesn't get any worse than that. And I've figured out how to make money here. So if i can do it living in this black hole there is absolutely no reason why someone else can't in other bad areas. Yes it helps that my truck is paid for and that we don't have a lot of bills at home, but it's not like all that happened by chance.
