I've actually thought about that...then I could relive being in Iraq and eat one every now and then

Yeah, and I think just a couple of months ago, I finally grasped the concept higher gross doesn't necessarily equal higher net. I mean, I knew that already, but for some reason I just started factoring my math a little differently, which is how I've gotten lazy.

Weight of load, terrain to get to destination, etc...

My wife is always trying to book me to PA but I won't let her because the freight back out isn't that good & the loads going in are usually heavy. I tell her the rate looks good till you factor on the extra fuel cost, not to mention the junk loads coming back out. I would rather bounce around OH, IN, IL, & KY with loads that might not look quite as good but will be better in the end.

With that mindset you will do fantastic here. That area is practically a gold mine.

    RStewart Thanks this.

Hey, couple of question for you guys. I'm about to have to get some new tires on the trailer. I've got 162k on these Bridgestone R196s, never hooked up the dump valve, which I intend on doing before replacing them, but i could probably get another 40k+ out of my rear axle. my questions are:

    A) is that a decent life out of them?
    B) what tires do you run or do you think these are the better value for what we run?

That's what I was hoping. I like running that area but every now & again I like to spread my wings & head west. But not too often. I don't mind running the south east either, yes even Florida, lol, on a rare occasion.

We got some good loads down here in Florida. The problem for you guys is I'm not sharing them. Their mine. All mine!

    RStewart and Razorwyr Thank this.
