That sucks man. Hopefully you are able to get his insurance to fix it.

 

The company says they wanna fix it without insurance involved.. Problem here is the closest BODY shop is 120 miles away and a 2-3week wait.. If i get the truck home(900 miles) the dealer will take my truck right away... I have a feeling that the company isn't going to pay...

The body shop says this is a 3 Piece hood. And i thought the right side was the only one messed up. Turns out they messed up the middle too when i pop the hood its all CRACKED and PULLED away from the seam.. How stupid do you have to be to hit me with ur Tractor backing up...

 

I would call that companies insurance and get that claim rolling. That balls in your court not theirs considering you were hit while he was backing

 

Man I'm getting sick of this rain. It's really putting the damper on my productivity this week.

 

Tell them to give you a comchek for $3000-$5000 now (or whatever you think it will cost to fix + downtime) or you're going to call the insurance.

 

yea but what if its more then that then im stuck paying lol. There is more damage then i noticed. I Have all the info on his truck DOT and all that good old stuff

 

As long as it didn't get into the radiator or the intercooler you could call freightliner & price entire new hid assembly, hinges & all & new bumper & brackets, plus labor to paint & install. That should get you close to a number or just do what I would probably do & call their insurance.

 

Lmao found more damage near my step where the hooks for the hood are.

 

Yeah, I would call their insurance & tell them you're taking it home to go to the shop. No telling what all little stuff will be broke that you don't find.

 

yea another carrier just picked up my load to go deliver so i can get to the house. 900 mile deadhead here i come 2moro lol
