Well with our dear president prick being banned from ttr for calling people out on their bs we need to hold elections. I nominate cj. He is almost nice enough to not call people or for being stupid but still honest enough to qualify as the head prick.

 

Hope that's not permanent. It would be nice if the mods were a bit more even handed; I've been spanked for less than others get away with all the time. However I've also been fully deserving more than a few times.

Hold on there sonny! I am trying to improve myself. By which I mean to say that I am reading the forum less due to the ever increasing number of lazy "wanna be" OO's that appear on these pages. I would be a horrible prez. My daily answer to ppl would be "stop wasting my time and read the darn book you lazy rear"

@TruckerPete1990 passing along a message here. From your pays it sounds like toy ate letting this guy just pay you for the damages and keeping insurance out of the equation. I strongly advise you to reconsider this. Once you get that check and the work stays is your baby. If they discover more damage once they get into it it will be very hard to collect extra funds.

Also you have talked to our claims department haven't you? Our contract says we must report any accidents or incidents to them no matter what. Guys have had their lease canceled for failing to do this.

 

Oh the dealer already looked over my truck. He quoted everything for new parts which is not what the truck needs. Claims is the one handling the part but my answers are also coming from the guy directly as i knew he sent the check yesterday at 0900 but claims didn't tell me untill today lol. Claims said what they are doing is Once i get the check to start repairs They are gonna go from that time. So truck was in the shop from friday Hes gonna get them to cut another check for my down time. (This is the way claims is explaning it to me).

 

So I know I don't talk much about rates anymore. But I just had a load go from over 2 a mile to almost 4 a mile just because of my trlr. We are talking over 1200 miles at that rate. And there are those at Mercer that think my skull is "tacky". Lol. I'll be "tacky" all the way to the bank.

 

That will sure help pay for it. Lol.

 

I put my app in with Mercer last week & I've been approved through qualifications. Now I just have to wait till I have the info on my new truck to proceed to the next step.

Yes it does. I know the mods are doing a job but I think they are a little to itchy to ban people. Plus, the people that come on & ask questions need to have a little thicker skin & not get so butt hurt so easy.
