BTW I'm coming out of MI. I was out west last week for my kids Bday. But it's time for me to try and start working this year. At least I'm going to try and tell myself that. I think I'm taking next week off then I need to head to MO and get my cabnets replaced. OK maybe I'll start working hard next month.

I was stuck in a back up on 95 in VA this morning, hardly news I know, and a guy next to me had a very low step deck, like an equipment hauler and he had a conestoga like set up. First one I have seen, I think it was a MAC.

It gets better. Do yourself a favor and learn the load board. With a step you have to learn the lanes. It's easy to get stuck and sit wth a step.

What? Oregon? I thought throughout this thread you guys have said stay away from the NW. Lol.

Must be paying good. Enjoy the scenery.

If he is going im betting it paid good enough to cover the bounce or cheap load out.

    I like to live dangerously...lol

It paid good enough for me to do the bounce to pick it up coming out of the house, bounce out if necessary (don't wanna), and for me to be more than happy with the net after all of that deadheading. I figure I can get something out though, I don't usually have too too much of an issue in OR. It may be cheaper than I WANT, but I'll normally find something within my acceptable range.

I don't think I've ever said stay out of the NW. Heck I live there. I have probably said stay out of there if you won't do Cali. And there are areas that you know you have a big bounce from. But we have customers that ship 24/7 up there and always avail loads. Pay is so-so and often heavy, but there is money to be made.
