TBH I don't watch mine enough to justify it. When I got it I told myself it would keep me out of hotels every night. Didn't work. But it would be nice to DVR football and motorcycle races.

 

Agents calling on Saturdays trying to cover loads for Monday. I wished her luck with that.

 

Isn't that when you're supposed to push back and get a better rate?

 

when the rate is in the toilet to start I don't waste my time. I'm not gong to get them to double the rate.

 

I had one call me on wed about 1 a week out. I cut him off midsentence to let him know I was going to be 3000 miles away and couldn't so as not to waste either of our time, but the first thought that went through my head was "wow, I should have let him finish to see just how crappy a rate has to be for them to start scrambling a week out."

 

I have it mounted high enough on the back of my truck that it clears the roofline by about 6 inches so it can find the satellites no matter which way I face. It's 13'5" off the ground and I did the install.

 

One time I went to Wa. to many trucks, nothing going on. Bounced to Wy. cheap load of mud to Tx, Team load back to Wa. Unloaded, receiver then took me as a captured truck and loaded me to Mi.

When I got to Wa the 2nd time there were still trucks on on the board from the first time I unloaded.

Sometimes these decisions we make work out sometimes they don't. Just be prepared for when they don't. The west has always been that way.

 

I made a 1.90 to the west portland 1.33 out to Texas and some DH on top.
