Google is your friend. Many of us are moving on to places where truthful responses are more important than some guys little feelings getting hurt.

Where would that be? Because this thread is really interesting even though I don't have anything to do with mercer.

Disagree all you like. All I ask is that you agree to disagree agreeably. Adults should be able to do that.

Name calling is not allowed. Period.

Just about every poster on our site that drives for Mercer seems to be happy there. If that's in fact the case, let your company's record stand on its own as not in need of any defense. One thing I've personally learned here over the years is that while MANY complaints about a given company MAY be substantiated in some way, the occasional ONE can safely be taken with a grain of salt.

You'll have malcontents in every walk of life. They can't be bargained with, reasoned with, and only serve to drag others down to their level because they'll never be happy in any endeavor they choose. I've noticed that it tends to be this class of people that can't make it at companies like yours and others.

Now ask yourself this. Are they really worth the trouble?

No they aren't worth it. But you would have you ask yourself is it worth it having their negativity all over your site?

My personal opinion on that is irrelevant. All we as mods can ask is that they comply with forum rules.

Interesting, as I would see those people as the trouble makers coming in & STARTING the trouble which you mods could stop at that point but you don't. Instead they keep picking & picking until people have had enough & then it turns into a big blow up. Makes no sense. Oh well. This is a useless conversation. I'm done with it.

One more question, who do us forum users make complaints to about mods?

Us dragging this on isn't going to help anything.

Having spent years as a mod I know that Mack didn't make this call on his own. There is a process and I'm sure it was followed, I know a ton of us owe a lot to skate and others on here. But dragging this out will not bring him back.

RS Mack does answer to someone and I am sure she is well aware of everything being said here. As is every other mod by now. You could complain to her but it will be no good now. The complaining and underhanded insults that have happened this weekend has pretty much sealed this case closed. I know when I was head mod I would have stopped listening after the insinuation was posted of mods not being fair.

For all of us let remember Skate the best way we can. If you have knowledge and want to share it please do. We do have a great company here and most everyone knows that. Let's not tarnish it with a bunch of useless squabble.

I agree. That's why in my last post I said I'm done.

Back on track...have you had to turn down any loads because of your roll tarp?

How does it do in the wind compared to a van?

Yes there are several loads I can't hual anymore. Most plastic pipe loads and all oversized loads are out the door. AC loads are gone for the most part and a few others. So the loads I pick from has decreased in size. However, the demand for my trailer is enormous. Things started kinda slow for me. But I was taking a lot of time off. Now I hardly even watch the load board. Most loads are calls from the agents giving me a premium over the load board because the customer really wanted a conestoga. So it's paying off.

As for the wind? I hate it. Hard to compare to a van as when I pulled van I was normally heavy. Now I'm normally light (only 2k today). If I hit bad winds I'll be more inclined to find shelter fast.
