That's exactly what I was thinking. I know they ended up with a bunch of vans after that quality mistake. And last I was in L'ville there was lots of talk of pooling those vans for D and H places. Having those guys rent will allow for that while allowing them to keep 75%. To me that makes sense but I don't run vans and couldn't break down the cost to an OO for that rent verse say 67% like LS.

Anyhow before someone thinks this is anything but hypothetical #### chat let me stop guessing at what may or may not be going on in KY. I don't know and all I can do is guess and assume. And we know what that causes.

I don't know about that, but i do know that after searching for a freaking week and missing out on several very good loads, that no one in the entire state of florida can make 5 inch stainless exhaust pipe. Have had to order it all from iowa80, and ouch. They aint cheap. This exhaust system will cost more than my first two trucks combined cost me. Plus will take 7 to 10 days to get here, so I'm also buying the rotted out pieces from freightliner to the tune of 500 bucks just to not keep missing out on good loads while i wait for the good stuff to get shipped.

Also, since I'm gonna have the head ache reach off for this project in gonna redo my catwalk. While stainless sheeting looks best, it's slippery as snot and i just don't heal as fast as i used to.

How do you guys think a stained hard wood catwalk would look? Going from under the sleeper all the way back to the fifth wheel slider rail. I'm thinking maybe a dark coffee color stain. I can mix some mason sand in the stain to give it traction. And box in the section under the chain rack for more storage. In my head it sounds like it will look pretty good, but as my wife would say...my fashion sense leaves a lot to be desired so looking for input. But don't say diamond plate aluminum, i don't need more stuff to polish.

What about stainless with a clear coat over it and mix a little sand in?

I forget. 500? 750? An even grand? No more than 1500 max. A few days of tlc and ran the snot out of her till she exploded, maybe six months and 75k miles. heck i don't even think i changed the oil in it. That 238 puked so much oil out the tube i figured it couldn't be dirty when ya add a gallon every morning. 2nd one was an even 5k. The guy was asking 8k and I showed up with cash. Cash won. Thought i was top gun moving into that 318 detroit.
