So I'm checking load notes I see this
THE CONSIGNEE IS CLOSED ON FRI 11/24 BUT IS
OPEN FOR REC SAT 11/25 0700-1030
.... WTF agent why was this added and didn't tell us? I have a load planned Friday

 

Pete call the RCVR. 24 is Tday. 25 is Friday.

 

Lol! good catch I was looking at day not date. got to wait as I have no number. but delivery info says 11/26/16 08:00 lol

 

On the upside I'm looking at trading this truck in for a 2017 truck w900s

Well the agent in mobile is great! love working with him. my cordanator and him worked this out so I wouldn't be stick in MS until Monday!

 

If you're going to Laurel, RHM said yeah, the customer confused them and kept changing days/dates they would be open. I'm headed that way myself, but since I live down there, I don't mind being stuck over the weekend

Around major holidays you gotta double and triple check shipper and reciever hours BEFORE committing to a load.

 

I'm in Butler, PA. They changed the p/u appt on me though, now I'm not loading until 1700.

 

Well you ain't making it home in time. That sucks.

 

Lol!!! They set mine at 5PM too... Told em i would be out of hours by then so they switcched it to 2PM. Here i sit at the customer hoping to get in early xD
