Elog is mandatory except for a few old timers that were here with mechanical engines before the elog mandate got pushed through. No new hires of mechanical engines. We do have an age limit, but if the trick is in great shape they will give ya an exception as long as you have an en electronic engine to accept the elog.

 

@spyder7723 hey you still want this apu engine? gonna be ripping it off the truck. probably when I go home for Christmas .

Hey gene said to tell ya it might not be your generator that is bad. Could be the capacitor that tells it to kick in. Clamped to frame and coats 50 or 60 bucks.

 

nah the bearings are bad in it it works but i feel sorry if i put that belt back on and run it cuz it makes a BAD noise lol

 

Well get a load to florida and i will pull it off for ya. Bearings shouldn't be that bad to swap in. Sounds like a fun weekend project, I've never torn a generator apart.

 

there a shop in CA u can mail it too but eh this thing has 18776 hours no point in me spending money on it lol
