Yeah, I don't think that's the problem, mine run under the truck, plus I'm pretty sure the wires are stretched at the trailer plug. Like I said, there is about an inch between the green rubber and the plug, plus my turn signals will occasionally cut out mid turn and then start working again when I straighten up. I'm pretty sure I just need to open up the plug and adjust them.

I found a video on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq4nVDoOc_4 showing a Phillips 16-730 plug being replaced (looked the same as what you have).

Looks like he unscrewed the small end that the cable went through and slid it back over the cable and then had to unscrew a flathead screw on the side of the housing near the plug end to be able to slide the main housing back.

Well d***, it wasn't that easy. I took it apart (can't believe I missed the screw the first, but man that was tiny), wires all look good, so I did the thing I should have to begin with. I broke out a wire tester, it's not getting any power. It's not getting any power at the truck end either. Maybe it is a fuse after all. That's the next thing I'm checking, I don't feel like climbing under the truck in sub freezing temps to see if something somehow cut just that wire

Oh, imagine that, there's a separate fuse for trailer marker lights and truck marker lights. And guess what, if the trailer fuse blows, you have no marker lights on your trailer. Who would have thunk it. Wow I feel like such a ####### now.

Yeah, just took me almost 2 hours to do something that should have taken 30 seconds. But hey, I had nothing better going on today anyway.

It happens to the best of us. I tore my entire dash apart looking for a short when the whole time it was just a loose breaker.
