How do you figure? You are piping from one water jacket port to a bottle and right back to another water jacket port. Sure a milk jug or soda 2 liter bottle isn't gonna holds up to a lot of pressure, but the system should only be under what? 14 lbs? That's not a lot.
Edit: with the 5 gallon bucket method with no return line, you just have someone adding coolant. Or heck, stick a garden hose in the radiator cap.
