So the wife and baby are sick. They went to the ER Sunday. She has bronchitis and he has a infection. Today the er calls and says the baby xray shows a shadow they need him to be seen today. How the #### do you not pickup on it when he's there.

The radiologist probably wasn't there until today

 

I'm sorry Pete! That's scary with a baby so young. Let's hope and pray they caught it early and he'll be all better soon! And your wife too

 

Because the radiologist, who is the expert in reading xrays, wouldn't have seen the xray until today. Sorry that your wife and kiddo aren't feeling well. I hope they get better very quickly.

From our personal experience: my oldest actually had a stress fracture in her ankle that had been diagnosed as a sprain. Part of the missed diagnosis (she DID sprain the ankle) was the angle the original pictures were taken from. They didn't take a side view at the ER, which would have shown the fracture distinctly. I know it sucks, but medical professionals are human, too. And make mistakes.

 

True you would think they would have a specialist on all the time lol..

 

Are you willing to pay for them to be staffed with every specialist around the clock 7 days a week? I'm not.

 

I got the price list today of all equipment and Racks from Mercer.

The diamond plated 3 door headache rack is $1775 at Mercer. Same price it is online. So I will wait and get when I get down there. Makes things easier for me

 

@HalpinUout I found a used set with a nice 3 door rack for 2500 in Ohio.

 

Lol nope but it should be in the budget.
