Idling that much will push oil out the exhaust. Most likely that's all it is. But #### dude. 30 hours? You spent more on fuel than what a hotel would of cost.

Got a load to the shipyard in Newport News next week. How strict are they about steel toe shoes? I left my Red Wings at home and don't wanna buy some cheap ones that I'll never use again if I don't have to. I have some wolverine boots with me now but they aren't steel toe

    The shipyard probably won't notice.

There prob won't be over night parking. Last time I was there it was under construction... most truck spots are gone due to it. They won't notice your shoes unless u wear flip flops...

I've been in there a hundred times over the years and they have never checked mine. Now i wouldn't show up in tennis shoes, but if you are wearing what appears to be a work boot you will be fine.

    Well I got two things.

    Spyder, you stink!

And I just got confirmation that Mercer is adding 96 conastoga trailers :-(. Sounds like 2 waves but Mercer just doesn't have that much conestoga freight yet. A few trucks I had no issue with. But that many? Looks like others shall profit from me being a #####. I love Mercer but it really might be time to find a new corner.

Most of the drivers won't last long with the payments of them lol. I'm guessing close to 1k a month.

I think they are pushing for established drivers first. But that might backfire too, many established drivers have their common shippers and lanes. I'm sure many would hate to relearn the good areas again (although many do overlap they are not the same). Also drivers that depend on their coordinator would go broke fast.

I would think that the payments for a new one would be around 750-$800 if Mercer had drivers buying them. I'm not sure tho. I bought my system outright. It cost 15k, think the trailer was $28k so I guess someone could figure out payments if they wanted.
