. One chain with a binder on each side and slack in the middle means it attaches to same side,. Which cuts wll in half .

You are probably correct on that, an example would be a humvee, one chain passed thru both shackles on front of humvee. A 5/16 grade 70 at 4700 pounds you hook chain to left side of trailer and place one binder end where chain went thru shackle and other end of binder back toward attachment point on trailer , do the same on right side , tighten . You then have slack hanging in the middle . You have made two separate chains, but the wll is cut in half , so you still have 4700 pounds same if you ran the chain thru both shackles attach one end to right and one end to left side and use one binder , you get 4700 pounds of wll. That the difference between direct and indirect.

I got grease all over my side box that's the only reason I stopped carrying it. If there was a non mess one I would do it again. The $20 ones seem to make a mess.

I wrap my grease gun up in an old towel before tossing it in the side box. No mess this way.

A thick hefty trash bag cut in half works good to keep grease gun off everything in side box?

Did anyone watch the facebook live from mercer town today with Jason and Gerald? If not and you want to, it should be on mercer transportation page.
