It was mentioned on here at least once that when both boards were up, both bulletin boards were not being updated with the latest changes! Also, a lot of people couldn't even log in to the new board when things were put on the new board bulletin board! In Chrome on my PC and on my Iphone I can't scroll on the bulletin board, so if I have been off for a week or so, and several bulletins came out, I won't see them all. So it's quite possible that things may have been posted but never seen. That's why I had to guess on a date in a previous post, because I couldn't scroll to see it. That may be something to bring up as well!

The roll out of this contractor web update seems as successful as the initial roll out of the obamacare website. That first year was a nightmare, but I think Mercer topped it.

I wouldn't mind a heads up from my coordinator when she is out, but just to keep a better eye on the board myself. I haven't been a fan of fill in coordinators, but I just get tired of getting called every 5 minutes about 47k lb loads, that have a 500 mile deadhead, paying $1.27 going to BFE, Montana or some other dead area. I know preferences can be changed, but it usually takes a few annoying calls for me to realize my coordinator is out and apparently my preferences are set to ridiculous.

Actually as part of training they call on more loads, you can request for floaters not to call. That's the two edged sword of being notified or not. It would be quite a task to have differing types of notification for an entire board

Mtoo, I actually tried to use the obamacare health exchange the first year. The new load board in no way was even close to that, not even close

Vangtransport, there were actually people who said they did not know a new load was in existence til the old one ended. That statement wasn't actually about the new load board only, but many things over the time I have been here. Many things go unnoticed in that section.

I have encountered folks who have sent here 9 months who weren't on the contractor load board, but on the broker board on mercertown.com

I am speaking of notices on there in general.

But let me add vangtransport , I thank you for these posts. You have pointed out several issues that can be asked about and discussed, thanks . I appreciate your honest thoughts and opinions . I appreciate you doing this.

Pete you don't have to get all of it at once , it's best not , especially on trailer . You can tell when it's to much when ya hit steel cord ,. But a good start point is get 6 to 7 / 32 it f tread or set the blade to 1/4 inch depth and get 8/ 32. You can feel and hear when you hit steel cord , in doing a trailer tire you don't want to get to much at one time as it might peel rubber if too deep . Don't ask how I found that out

Pete , that is debatable if it's worse there.

But personal attacks and name calling don't go far there. But there's quite a few more mercer guys there also.

We try to actually give more discussion leeway there. Til people get attacked.

I actually have seen you get more ragging here than there.

You doing trailer or drive tires. If by chance front axle on spread don't get to much at once or they peel off rubber

Mercer has some serious, serious issues when they need "mentors" and "driver advocates" to be this helping hand.
This is not a dig at you mickey, I understand you just want to help guys navigate thru this. I just see the Mercer of yesterday as compared to the Mercer of today and it's sad.

First off, Mercer is a successful company that's been doing this for many years. They know how it's done. They screwed up. The sad thing is they should have known (or they did know) that the roll out was plagued with bugs.

Second, They hire smart capable owner operators that don't need baby sat.

This used to be a well oiled machine, you guys should be pissed.
