I was speaking specifically of what I read on here and my own experience.

No problem, but I'm only commenting because the frustration level after Monday is at a all time high! How frustrated am I with the board, think about why I asked if you were a mentor, yeah I cracked that code, but I'm playing nice in hopes to get the board fixed.

I know they are just doing their job, don't knock them for that at all, they have to learn somehow. It's just annoying to me. I don't mean to sound like I've been here forever, because I haven't, but it's like any other job, when the knew guy comes in and needs training it's annoying. Not because they are in the learning process, but because it's distracting, slows me down, and keeps me from doing my job.

Mtoo, you actually answered many of the statements you posted.

But the mentors ( I actually don't like that term at all). Are simply performing the function that some folks always have, helping folks if they have hit a snag.

In fact performing a function like this thread did starting in 2012. Many many people say some the tips and suggestions here have helped them tremendously. You might be surprised at how .any simply don't post or visit here.

Mtoo I have been at this 38 years,. Look at home long you did it. Nothing stays the same .

People , attitudes, life experience, dress codes etc change over time.

The pool of drivers mercer has to pick from isn't the same as it was 25 , 20, 10 or even. 5 years ago.

I see no more change here than I see change in the world.

Everyone hauled there first load once , but the pool of old experienced seasoned owners is shrinking fast.

A lot of guys are coming on that have experience but never owned one. There's a learning curve and growing pains.

I have to laugh when someone says I have become a yes man. It has to be someone who actually doesn't know me.
Mtoo, you know how it works, if you can go to someone in the office a d talk to them in a calm manner and put out some facts and situations it's goescalong way.
The way some things are discussed on Facebook and here , how would that go over in the office?

Do people not even consider who may read this page, who may read other websites , Facebook pages, etc.?????

I guess from my perspective , I have dealt with many things over the years. Dealing with the new load board is minor in the grand scheme of things.

    RStewart Thanks this.

Mtoo, let me ask you this.
If folks actually went in the office and talked to folks like they do here , what would get accomplished?

I think that's part of the frustration that you're missing! People have talked to people in Louisville in a calm manner and some things remained the same!

No I am not missing that at all. But maybe you miss I have also sat across the table from someone talking to the people on the phone like dogs.

I have seen people come in Louisville and do the same.
I am in no way saying no one ever talks calmly.

But let's qualify changes, have any changes and improvements been made? Yes they have

Have they been made at a pace and speed to everyone's liking? No they haven't

But are they working on the problem? Yes they are.

Is it perfect? No it will never be , nor will anything in life

On the issue you mentioned about scrolling on the bulletin board , it seems there are only two items on it at the moment.

The blog on mercer town.com has several and an archive

I wish I was here when the old load rolled out. It would be interesting .

When the old board rolled out it was accessed by laptop, the new one seems to have more problems on mobile devices.

That is simply inexcusable! People use the board to feed their family's, repair their trucks, ect.... If the tool people were using to load their truck was never ready, it should not have been put out!

That's not preventing me from using the board, so I could care less! But the reason you can only see two items is because you can't scroll!

The last one I saw was from April 6th! It's now July 2nd!

To add: How many of the fixes that you personally know of, that required absolutely no input from IT are posted on that blog since April 6th?
