looks to me to be a 120V 30 amp 3 wire plug. The attachment point at the generator dose it have numbers on it like 120Vac or 120/240Vac on it? I'm thinking it only 120VAC and you could by an adaptor for It however the amperage may be too high to plug it into a plug strip running it off one extension cord to the shore power. It could result in the cable or plug strip over heating which could cause a fire, or the circuit breaker at the shore power could trip due too the high current demand. Any how I would run two power cord back to the shore power.

Exactly. You probably shouldn't run that a/c off a power strip. But you could probably get a heavy duty extension cord that has multiple female connections (HD cords aren't cheap) and plug your a/c into one and power strip into the other.

It's the in motion unit. I found it there right after you swapped yours out. I keep meaning to pick it up for myself but have spent so little time in the truck this last year that I just can't justify it. On weekends I just set the DVR for times I'm parked.
I started booking my own loads my second load at Mercer. It paid $4+ a mile on 450 miles. Put me in the middle of nowhere and I had to DH 500 miles to get my next load. I learned a little there LOL.

Sounds like you need to have a talk with your coordinator a little more. Have him adjust your preferences so that you don't match up to those cheap loads. Don't use the app to look for loads. That feature is useless! You have to use the site and look at all loads not matched loads. This will force you to open up the load details and try to figure out why it's not matched to you. Is it hazmat? Going to key west and you don't do Florida? Require a different trailer? Require PSP?
You can have your coordinator set many preferences. I have mine adjust my weight to 10k when we know he is going to be out of the office for awhile so I don't get 500 calls from fill ins that make it impossible to drive down the road safely (sorry they can be annoying but I know they are just doing their job).

IMO the only way to make great money here is to book your own loads. But to do that you HAVE to be very proactive on the load board. You can't use the app. The new site is great on a laptop but has issues on any mobile device. But you need to get very hands on with it.

    Hell 4 bucks a mile is roundtrip money...but I'm a door swinger.
My first load I booked on my own, got tired of waiting on hold my coordinator.
@HalpinUout Spend lots and lots of free time looking at the board, find the lanes that mercer runs, whether it be out and back or triangle or W pattern.
Don't be afraid to call the agents directly. And don't be afraid to tell your coordinator to pound sand on loads that don't fit you....however be respectful, because they are an invaluable tool if you manage them right.

No need to pound sand , or anything, you simply no, or I will pass on those. No one gets offended if you turn down loads. This has been the system here for 40 years. A lot depends on how well you and the coordinator mesh, I find some , my coordinator find some, my wife finds some, it's a group effort.

"Pound sand" is a simple no or I'll pass....especially when I said respectfully. I think he's smart enough to figure it out but thanks for your clarification.

" Pound sand" , unless the meaning has changed, is typically not a simple yes or no. It's definition is more a emphatic or defiant no,. But I had a couple hours phone call with him yesterday.

The coordinators call sometimes on a load they know in all probability you won't take, but it's part of their job to call.

Especially in the case of someone just starting and developing a relationship with their coordinator, it's takes a bit til they and you learn each other.

I know some come from places where if you do turn down freight or request other things , you get put on the crap list or get labeled as a problem person.

It takes a bit here to understand that no one at mercer has a problem with anyone turning down freight.

You also might get offered that 1.60 rate , every now and then, in some areas that would be a gold mine of a load. Just depends on where you are.

I think sometimes folks get the impression that every load pulled is premium dollars, but not every load any of us pull is a home run everytime. If ya end up in El Paso, tx if you wait for the home run , you are gonna be there a while. Your best bet there is copper or 4 wheelers , get the best one and ride.

The driver coordinator relationship shouldn't be adversarial, a " pound sand" thought shouldn't be there, if it is you might want a new coordinator. Sometimes it never meshes , and it's no one's fault.

It takes a while to get totally comfortable in this system, more months than most realize.
I think reading many Facebook pages, like rate per mile masters, for example, people get a distorted view of rates and lanes, you get the impression that everyone is pulling for 4 dollars a mile everyday, everywhere.

It's just not the case actually, everyone talks about their home runs , but their singles or walks don't get much attention, strikeouts aren't mentioned.

Sometimes you take the best load available and live to fight another day, you just do your best not load to bad areas back to back.
