I'd have told them to unload the truck and get someone else to put up with their bad attitude.

I had a loader in a Baltimore port refuse to put my lumber tarps on a load outside in the wind. Got the rear tarp on just fine so I was walking around full of myself. Went to do the front tarp, and there it goes off the side of the load. He was number one on my list that day.

I was at a shipper today in Knoxville, TN today, they must have felt my pain from my tarping disaster on Friday LOL.... They don't let the driver climb on top of the load, You lay the tarp out on the ground behind trailer, they roll it out a tie rope onto it and use forklift to place it over the load... I can live with that.

They also made me watch a safety video before entering plant as it was my first time, kind of caught me off guard when "Uncle Lennie" appears in the video as the main person giving the safety speech.... LOL Didn't see that coming, I did meet him at Mercertown in person...

I just replaced mine a few months back.... was only a couple hundred bucks more to replace the entire head unit as to buying a new lock and jaw kit. Mine was adjustable but was adjusted to the max.
What brand fifth wheel do you have?

Lol, I remember the first time I loaded there. Caught me off guard too. But I can't load there anymore so I'm stuck with that aluminum. Not that I'm complaining.

That actually looks like a great idea. That install in the vid was super fast and easy. What do the cost?
