I keep waiting for one to pop up cheap on Craigslist lol. It ain't happening any time soon.

 

Ya if i don't find one soon for cheap I'm just gonna buy a new one. But i hate to spend 5k on something ill use once a year. Had to get under the truck today and came out dripping in oil and grease. That won't happen for much longer.

 

They have an undercarriage wash. Lol. I'm sure it won't take off oil & road grime though.

 

I agree but I think that if I end up with one I'd probably just do my own truck washes at home. Eliminating blue beacon all together I'm sure you would do the same thing.

 

I do them now. Don't need a hotsy to wash a truck. Heck blue beacon(or any other truck wash) doesnt use real hot water. Next time you are at a truck wash look for a boiler, you won't find one. You do know a good hot water pressure washer heats the water to 250 degrees right? You do not want that on your paint.

A bucket of water from your tub or sink is hot enough for an exterior wash. Good soap and a brush on a pole. Garden hose for rinsing. Thats all you need. Dry and wax after. Then get out the polish for the shiny stuff.

 

@spyder7723 Can you recommend a shop near you that can replace a radiator?

 

Tampa spring in bradenton. And the shop in mulberry that's on our approved inspection list. From conversations with both they appear to be staffed with competent folks. But its just a radiator, any idiot can change it. Make sure you also replace the rubber mounts.

 

Thanks. I pretty live in the truck and no home on this side of the Pacific Ocean so, might be a big job for a truck stop parking lot.

 

I wasnt saying you're an idiot for not doing it yourself, just meant i wouldn't stress what shop you took it to. Just not a truck stop shop.

 

Where would the cheapest place to get a toolbox. Ones I'm finding I don't wanna spend $800 on one lol
