And to get their port card you need a twic card and your pin number. You also have to pay for their card it was over 100.00 as I recall.

So I'm at the house fora couple days getting work on the truck done and taking a breather when I look at my summary so far at my current carrier.

I've driven near 100k miles since the 10th of Dec last year....

    I'm calling Robin tomorrow.

I thought it was too last time they talked to me about getting one, but I'm going to get one on Thursday and they said $25. At least that's what I heard, maybe he said $125. I'll post how much it is once I pick it up. Maybe it depends on what state your license is from with some states not having the updated cards. I only mention that, because I was asked what state my license was in when they were submitting the info for my SeaLink, but they didn't ask for my DL number or anything.

I did it about 3 years ago my card is probably expired. I don't expect to go back there in the future. When I was there I was with two other flatbeds and a million container trucks. Talk about crazy.

So i stopped at 4States in Joplin to get some stuff.. While i was there i asked the price on the same seat i was getting from Freightliner.. Price was Almost $800.. now they say LOWEST PRICE GRANTEE.. So i told him Freightliner wanted 624... I asked will you match that. Was told no we can't match that sorry. I said your sign says lowest price grantee lol. I also noticed some of the items there were really pricy.. I asked how much Chassis grabbers where. he said $80 EACH not the pair. i said online you can get them $80 a pair..
I don't think ill be stopping there again lol

I have the twic and pin. According to my coordinator all 4 loads picking from Newark port were taken by trucks ahead of me, so I guess no worries for me now LOL..

Yeah, this is only the second load I've ever been dispatched on that needed a SeaLink, the first one cancelled, so I never got it. I imagine I won't use it much in the future either.
