Well it's getting in somewhere lol

I'd be willing to bet EGR cooler has a small leak but I'm no Cummins mechanic.

    It didn't build any pressure?

Just regular ole rotella 15w40? Could be the minerals in the oil showing up. Before i had the head pulled I'd switch to full synthetic & then sample that.

The best way too check for coolant leak in the oil is to pull the pan, pressure the cooling system lay and wait for the dripping hangers coming from the cylinders.or oil returns.

It's not the egr as it's welded. I've tried mobile oil too. Had same results.

@TruckerPete1990 do you plan on keeping this truck for awhile?

This is just my opinion so take it for what is worth. If i was in your shoes & i was going to keep it for awhile them i would just keep running & start putting extra money back for an inframe. Or the flip side, run it & use the extra money for a down payment.

be honest im not sure. Im looking at it this way. I already know whats wrong with the truck. Buying another truck i wouldn't really know whats wrong with it:p I think im keep it until i get a project truck.
