    Yeah now all the drives have new ones. And one new on the trailer. Not bad for 2 years on trailer and God knows how long on truck lol

    I loaded skidded coils today and the one thing I forgot to do was this...can't believe it. Its tarped now so....... I put 2 straps on each coil... I see most guys only do 2 on front and back skid and then one strap on the middle skids...

    Ya , I will put 3 straps on front and rear coils with a single strap on the coils between the ends. Also use edge protectors and the horseshoe chains forward and aft . I use felt pads instead of the edge protectors. You could build a bulkhead in front of the first coil over the tarp.

    Ya, I used edge protection... That's a good idea... I'm going to build bulkhead... I already got 1 piece of dunnage with a strap at the front holding tarp down, won't take much to add more... good idea

    Get it as close to the coil as possible.
