Turn the truck off, pump the brakes down to below 70 psi. Start truck, lay under truck, air dryer will let you where it's hiding.

It said you could call your log auditor if you gonna be gone for a while... Didn't think this was big deal really. Y'all are a bunch of whiney truck drivers :p

Personally I could do without the threat of being placed OOS, but that's who they are now! It's their company they can run it how they see fit!

I got that the first time, just didn't know if that was for a new unit or not. New one for mine was over $500 also.

first, there are some guys that are doing a little funny stuff with the keller units, and on all the eld units , the states are getting really picky on little things. when you put your load info in, dont forget the trailer number, even if ya pull the same one, it shows up when logs are printed after being emailed to officer, iowa especially is doing this.

also if you dont approve your logs each day, they could say you havent signed them. a technicality, but at least remember if ya get pulled in to be checked, hit that approve button.

also indiana has been pulling guys for one to two miles over, they do a paperwork check and tell you they did a warning for 2 miles over, which is no csa points, but they put the code on the inspection for 5 to 10 over which gets you csa points and a call from uncle lenny.

    Highway Sailor Thanks this.
