    pete , you must have missed the explanation. the 30 dollar price was going up as the contract was up, so they simply negotiated a 45 dollar price but it included the navigation and drivewyze, and its locked in for two years. myself it meant a 6 dollar decrease. at least now its locked in for 2 years. but with how easy and flawless the qc is , i dont want the problems some seem to have with keller,

    keep in mind why these things happen, you got guys not doing what they are supposed to, like using off duty driving to get to load or unload point, cutting off units and moving, etc. its like having to cut off load board access oct 1 for unpaid 1099 and being out of service if 1099 unpaid by nov 1, and yes the is quite a few.

    our fellow contractors may have played a part in some of this, thats like all the safety rules in place at these places we load or unload, they are there because some dummy did something to enact that rule

    Pretty simple concept, reprimand the ones doing it! But considering the email sent out specifically stated "We are not seeing this violation currently", there wouldn't be anyone to reprimand! The rest of what you wrote concerning elogs wasn't mentioned in the email!

    I always do both at once the only exception to this is if the purge valve would fail prematurely. But if it's been a year.. Just do both.

    i wasnt addressing the specific email about keller, i didnt recieve it as i am on qc. i was just giving some examples of things that have come up lately. we got one a while on qc about guys misusing personal conveyance since qc has a off duty driving button.

    it may well be that some keller users have been popped for this 3 day deal and they notified clients and this is a way to get ahead of it.

    its like the deal with iowa and the trailer number entered in th load info tab on qualcomm, they are really checking that hard. as are some states with guys not having a paper log backup , or dont have the instruction sheet. it has happened to several mercer trucks.

    i agree , it would be nice if it would be just the ones doing it to get reprimanded. it just seems nowhere in the world does that happen.

    Do you go home for any exact set number of days? I certainly don't. When i go home the plan is airways a few days of them book the first decent load out. That could be in 3 days.. Or it could be in 2 weeks.

    Ours not a big deal to log into my device every 3 days to submit logs... Just a pain in the ###.

    I have no idea what email or new OOS with JJK y'all are talking about. Is it simply they will put anyone OOS if they don't submit logs in 3 days? Is that Mercer or JJK? I have not received an email or notice on the board at all or a call from my coordinator. I use my truck as my pov when at home and only submit my logs when I'm doing pretrip the morning I go back to work. I'm usually home 1-2 weeks. I'm at home now and still haven't heard anything except on here, but I'm only on day 3 now.
