Break downs happen best to call the agent now and let them know. They may push back the pick up so you can make it or try to find a truck to cover it. Best to give someone a call about it now so they can work on it.

You might want to pick up a higher quality one from Lowe's or HD and being that large of a hole, I'd make sure it's got a center pilot bit. Did you use any lubrication? Cutting wax works the best but even WD-40 will suffice. You should be drilling super slow, like the slowest setting possible. Depending on the quality of the aluminum, it will sometimes 'gum' up or ball up, but lots of lube and slowing the drill speed helps reduce that.

$235 is fairly cheap for a road call, I think u kinda lucked out. At least you didn't require a tow.
But I'm with you on the weekend breakdowns... Ain't much open except for TA/Petro and they ain't got much for parts inventory, even most dealership have pretty limited weekend hrs.

Originally the mechanic thought it was my air dryer, and I was thinking man did I luck out considering I just picked up the parts for that last night:cool: But wasn't the case... He did say my air dryer is loose and the 2 bolts holding it on can only be removed by torching them off... I forgot what he said them type of bolts are called??? So looks like I'll have to get it to a shop and have new bolts put on it as I don't have a torch or anything...

Are you sure it's aluminum and not stainless steel? What are you drilling again?
