Yes it really does take time. Half the time when you call you are placed on hold for god knows how long lol. Thats like calling Payroll and being on hold for 10 mins for something simple. Same thing with impact the other day i was on hold for over 15 mins then i just hung up..

 

Is that really a huge problem though? Your hole problem is a bigger issue. You think maybe all this other stuff got going on may make the log deal and calling impact bigger issues than they are.

I usually handle other things if I call about payroll or impact, I just listen on the headset and do other things.

I just don't get bothered by small stuff like that, in the grand scheme of things , it's inconsequential.

Nothing in life ever goes according to plan. The old saying ," don't sweat the small stuff" is a good one to follow

 

You should get yourself a variety of air line ends , and some airline , so you can replace an end , or splice in a piece. And some bolts washers and nuts of various sizes. Cotter pins , etc etc.

 

Yes, that would be odd for hucks to be there , unl was a nut has changed it before.

By the way , the person I called you about a used ecm, went with a new one. Fact is there harness is bad , but she went with a new one because of warranty on an 06, but if it shorts with that ragged harness , I doubt they will honor warranty . But I gave her the info you gave me. 2800 Vs 500 , but oh well

Yep i put the new water pump on yesterday. Then greased the truck, greased the trailer, changed a valve stem on an outside tire, replaced that tire you had regrooved with the one i patched that had the steel rod in it. snugged up all the slack adjusters on both truck and trailer, treated the wood on the trailer. Was something else to but can't seem to recall what it was. Was a productive weekend.

 

Ya, I have lots of that stuff... Problem was I couldn't find the problem... Took someone who works on trucks everyday a while to find the issue as well so I don't feel so bad... I'm learning as I go, that's all I can do... After all I'm making "Big Mercer Money" so I'm not gonna sweat that service call **sarcasm**

 

Call your log person and ask if emailing the dates are ok. I emailed mine and she will accept a email instead of a call, which works better for me because I'd rather have it in writing anyway!
