Well the guy I was dealing with in Missouri got the boot from me, was supposed to call me back a week ago and never did. Anyhow talked to Tom in Sioux Falls today, going to give him my business.. Does your trailer have the tire inflation system on it? I wasn't sure if I wanted those because of mechanical reasons and according to him he hasn't heard of anyone having issues with them at all...

yes, they can see any changes from when it was dispatched. it does happen from time to time that the rate is figured wrong.

sounds like its sucking air, have you got all connections clamped of zip tied? diaphragm in pulse pump may have a pin hole or housing cracked

what side would be sucking air? the side that comes from the fuel tank to the pulse pump?
He also said the same thing about sucking air too lol cuz the fuel line has air coming out.

it could be either side actually , the diapragm is thin, they will work forever or go out quickly, you proabably have 3 connections on it, double check they are in right place, have
you lowered the size of pickup tube?

also moving to valve cover wont make any difference, its same crankcase pressure. the crankcase pressure simply pulses as the piston goes up and down.

if you have a 3/4 inch pickup line it may well be to much volume to lift from tank , to check just take a small piece of tubing and stick tank and connect to pump and see if it pulls it up there, if those pumps can feed a modified kart engine at 7000 rpm it should do what you are wanting .

that is simply a rubber grommet type fitting in the valve cover. i will be home tommorrow ,i could send you the pics of the setup on one of my briggs animal kart engines if you like

pete , we never got oil in our tubes to the pump from crankcase. and we turned those engines at 7 to 8000 rpm, you are at 3600 rpm on average, i would like to see that setup. but those were briggs animal ohv and flatheads, and yamaha 100cc

Well see mine never touches the crank case. Mine is a plug and play type thats why it was so $$$$. It litterly plugs into the Gernator oil fill tube(For crank case pressure) Then u hook the fuel line up. Anyway i fixed it. There was a gasket type style and i took it off messed with it. Blew the thing out and BAM shes working!

I have heard of a few problems with the auto inflation systems. Problem is, that you usually don't realize that its malfunctioning until you notice that you got irregular tire wear and no one checks those things to see if they are working correctly. If it was me, I would invest in a tire pressure monitoring system over an auto inflation system.
