Pete , the oil fill tube go directly to crankcase , we had a fitting with a hose nipple that screwed into the oil fill tube, push on the hose , connect other end to fuel pump then run line from tank to pump , and line to engine, in your case the generator , and that's it. Hooked to oil fill port just like yours, sounds like that guy has complicated the setup.

Glad though you found you were loosing pressure , what was the gasket on?

Put my truck in the shop yesterday to have the Spring Pins and Bushings replaced... My check book is awaiting a large sum to be written out LOL. The parts aren't much its the Labor. They are estimating it at around 10 hours. I did watch a video on you tube of a guy doing it and it seems rather simple its just time consuming. If I had a place to do it I think I would have tackled the job on my own... I guess on the plus side the Peterbilt shop here in Champaign, Illinois area gets drivers a nice discounted rate on a nice Hotel with Bar, Pool, Restaurant, free shuttle to take you around town. The cost of owning a truck never stops, but I gotta maintain it properly to keep making that money. I look at it like "My truck really is a well oiled machine" Having a new air dryer installed while its in the shop as well.

Hopefully they call me early enough so I can get a load booked for tomorrow. We shall see. If not maybe I get lucky again like last weekend and get a call about a high dollar load that needs moved, that would be nice:D

Ya, the video I watched online was a guy doing it on a FL. From what I can see there isn't a whole lot different between the 2.
