Got my truck out the shop for the tune of $2900... Drives like a Cadillac now... They had to torch the rusted bolts and use a air hammer to get the metal bushings out. And for my air dryer they had to torch the huck rivots to get the bracket that holds it to the frame off cause it was cracked and needed to be welded... They also fixed a coolant leak.... I like this shop think from now in this is where I'm coming for repair.... Waiting for my dispatch now, they need to come on with it. :)

Yeah, the money sounds good but I'm not good at sitting all day waiting for a call them running all night. That doesn't work for me. Plus, I don't want to be dedicated. I like being able to say heck with it I'm going home. Lol. I'll just pull my cheap winter can freight.

JX Peterbilt in Urbana, Illinois... JX has numerous locations buy this one is a franchised location that only does repairs has a 3 door shop pretty small and has small parts shop. They don't sell trucks. Although they said they are buildin a new bigger location, hopefully that doesn't change the quality of service and work

Wow, Just got a letter in the mail from Len Dunman. My truck was tracked twice on the speed and following distance I guess from off duty police mercer hires... The one time in NM it shows he tracked me for 5 miles... That's almost scary that I'm being hunted like prey LOL. But both reports are good so I got credit points :headbang:

I wonder if you pull doubles do they make you chain up FedEx and UPS loads? I've pulled doubles in Chicago area and don't like them in snow, that would suck in the mountains out west.
