Here a question.. The last 2 Trailers i've had my turn signals in the middle of the trailer Won't blink or either side... All lights work on the truck and blink like they should. When i connect to the trailer all the lights come on just those left and right middle turn signal won't blink but its light up.. The rear of the trailer they blink just fine... Is this a issue with these trailers or is this something on my side?

 

They are not required to blink

 

I use the app. I May be wrong but it's my understanding you enter your load number and trailer on the QC and everything else on the app. Let's put it this way..... I have not been corrected or told to change.

 

I also use the app for empty and loaded calls but never put the load number or trailer number in the QC and have had 2 Level 2 DOT inspections and not a word. Also logs dept has never said anything either.

 

Maybe I misunderstood him? I type all the load information into the app as far as BL # , weight, pieces, ETA. And then on the QC for logbook type trailer # and delv date. And BL# in... I thought he meant as far as sending Mercer over his information.

 

Because they are tail lights, not turn signals. Everything is working normally.

 

Well food shopping done. Trying to stay awake sucks when you have nothing to due...

Mercer sent out a letter on the QC a few months ago about putting in the load information on the QC. I think Pete had an issue with that and posted it awhile back. That's how I found out I was not doing it correctly and then the Mercer letter came out.

 

Wasn't it posted on here that the DOT was giving Mercer Drivers violations for not putting in the Trailer# on the QC under load information?
